Andy Stout, in addition to an internship with the City of Frederick Historic Preservation Office, has landed the Board Assistant job at Frederick County Landmarks Foundation.  He is preparing to publish an article, and has done some interesting research on how rhyolite from the Winslow site might be typed and identified by its source location and molecular structure.

MAS member Spencer Geasey addressed the Frederick Seratoma Club  on Native American archeology in the county.

MAS Treasurer and Librarian George Evans will received his CAT (Certified Archeological Technician) training diploma Sat. March 20th.  Congratulations to George!  That's two years of hard study and many years of field work.
